I'd strongly recommend changing to Win98SE. Installing Win95b or Win98 over your present installation of Win95a wouldn't create any problems. You wouldn't lose anything. About FAT16/32, once again, no problems. Win 95b gives you the option of changing to FAT32 if you wish. If you don't wish, keep FAT16. (Though changing to FAT32 does result in the availability of a lot more usable hard disk space. Good luck.
