Larry:
You can run win95 with FAT 16. Just choose it
when asked during installation. ( Actually choose not
to install FAT 32)
My win 95b disc has a readme file text dated Aug 1996,
and the file itself is dated May 1, 1997. The setup file
is also date May 1, 1997
I guess that win 95a would have a readme file text with
an earlier date and also earlier dates on the readme and
setup files.
