I have Comcast at Home cable modem service. I have a firewall running, so I usually leave my PC on all the time (I have been having boot-up problems recently). Recently I find pop-up ads all over my screen when I turn my monitor on. No web browser is running (I use MSIE), but they are there anyway. I run ADWARE to delete any software like that (it consistently finds two cookies: DoubleClick and one other), but the pop-ups are there after the next time I have been on-line.
