A friend is looking to buy a new computer from a local shop, who will install either OS. She wants to run a few very basic programs (Word/Excel, a real estate program, Paintshop, browser and email.
Current computer is Win95. Anything will be an upgrade! She does not want XP. What's the difference (re _her_ requirements) between ME and SE? Any advice on which to have installed?
