ME contains more multimedia "stuff". Full installation of Windows ME requires 646MB (give or take) whereas a full installation of Windows SE requires about 347MB Windows ME has two handy new features: System File Protection and System Restore. The System Restore program automatically takes a "snapshot" of your system every time you install or uninstall an application program. Neat feature if you have to restore you PC back to a preexisting condition. However, this feature can be implemented with 3rd party tools like Norton Ghost or PowerQuest DriveImage.
