Make sure anything that plugs into the computer has drivers for it under 
Windows Me.  I've seen recent Epson printers with no driver support under 
Me while older dot matrix printers did.
For ease of driver support then go with 98SE.  If the computer will come 
with printers, scanners and such then Me is fine.  See this site for more
