Just would like to say, from my perspective, Win ME has been great! Now, I did not upgrade but got it on a new computer and it has given me no trouble. It's quicker for me than 98SE was, and the system restore has saved my rear once...bad installation messed up the system. Have had no system crashes (except from the "bad" program I installed), and my computer usually ends up showing(after having using word processing, being on the web, email, etc) System Resources Free around 76%-83%. Of course, I try not to have a bunch of stuff running at startup, usually start out with 92% System Resources free. As with any of the Windows, be sure to go to Windows update to any update security fixes, patches, etc. And of course, have an anti-v*rus program and check for updates periodically.
