Betty, I have to agree with you about the integrity of Win-Me. I have been running it on 2-systems since it's inception in Sept Y2k I believe is the date.
I have never had a system crash (knock on wood), have made some bad installations and was thankful for the RESTORE feature to bring things back to the last good boot before installing the bad program. I also have Win-2K, Professional version which is a piece of junk as I see it. . .It was such a problem that I messed with it for about a month, and now the CD is in a drawer along with the 5-floppy installation disks. I recently installed Win-XP on one of my systems and it is working good and also has the restore feature like Win-Me. I'm surprised with the stable handling of all the programs and it works really well with IE6 and the MS Media player.
