Yes, I poll every four minutes in OE.  TheBat will do the same and I have
set it for 10 minutes.  However, both programs are running, though
minimized, when doing this.  I am on cable so I am always connected anyway.
I have not attempted to schedule either mail program to come up on its own
and then shut down, not sure it can be done.
