Ed, Thanks for the reply. I have been using End-It-All on my Win98 system for some time and am very happy with it. I didn't know that it would work with XP also.
What I was getting at in my original post was that in WinXP, what are the equivalent(s) to explorer and systray in Win98? In other words, after you use End-It-All to shut down your background apps, what items do you leave running so that the OS is still running?
