Sorry, I wasn't sure what to place in the subject line. Earthlink, aka Mindspring is my DSL provider.
Currently I have two program of which have some sort of email sending format, I just have to set the default outgoing SMTP server as well as my return email address. Well, when I connect through Mindspring, whether be DSL or dial-up, I choose to send one of these records, it appears to send, but never reaches recipient. I even tried to send it to myself, but I never receive it. I downloaded NetZero and connected and I was able to send it just fine as well as others with this program can also send to me. I use Outlook Express and have no problems here. I set the default mail server to SMTP.mindpring.com and mail.mindspring.com as well as changing mindspring to earthlink.net with no help. Of course, Earthlink support could care less if I get this program to send mail. Might there be a fix for this other than switching ISP's? Thank you.
