Greetings,

I started using Eudora 5.1 a few months back....at first when my posts were
not showing up I found out that AVG was certifying each message which
caused it to be kicked out. Last night I tried to send a reply to the list
and it didn't show up. Checked AVG again and it was configured just as I
left it, with no certification. In looking through the Eudora options under
sending mail I unchecked "allow authentication" and selected "never" in the
part, "Secure Sockets when Sending". At that point I resent the message and
it posted immediately. So why didn't these options stop my posts when I was
sending an original but stopped them on a reply message? Also, am I
compromising my messages by not using SSL?
