Before using SSL with e-mail you must know whether or not your ISP (Internet Service Provider) your mail server supports SSL encryption on the mail server. Just employing SSL when sending e-mail doesn't mean anything if the server doesn't support it. If your ISP supports SSL then maybe it's an authentication issue. That is, some ISPs require a download of mail before a send. Another issue.; I notice that the headers of your mail to this mailing list show: >X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: from multipart/mixed by demime 0.98b >X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: Alternative section used was text/plain So you are sending multipart-mixed e-mail to this list which is a no-no. This mailing list only accepts plain text e-mail messages. Maybe the demime program failed on you first attempt and worked on second. I guessing on this because I don't know how your message was sent originally. -- Gerry Boyd ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
