I think I've finally got it, thanks to your persistence. I have to admire 
your patience.

Actually, according to the section on your website, I've had Eudora 
configured correctly all along. AVG was the problem. I had the 
certification turned off but not the part that scans the message. As soon 
as I turned that part off, it got rid of that multipart/mixed in the 
Content - Type line.

I also got some info from my server about SSL. Since they don't support 
SSL, they suggest to set my configuration to "never". They also suggest to 
turn off the quoted-printable encoding.

In reference to this email delay....Up until a few months back, I have only 
ever had one server and to my knowledge I never had a message sent back to 
me with exception to the times I put in the wrong address. Now that I've 
changed servers and got on "cable", all kinds of strange things are 
happening. I guess I'll have to accept this as something that can happen 
once in a while.
