In a nutshell, just what is this ".NET"?  I see it now at the
windows update site.  Is this something we can all use, or
should we install it on our PC's?  I tried to read about it,
but there was no quick and easy explanation/description for
it.  Looks like from what I did gather from it, it is only
for PC's with a certain type of software on it. ?
