Hi all, A friend owns the above printer which has suddenly refused to print anything using the black cartridge, not even a test page. But it will print using the colour cartridge. A brand new black cartridge was tried, but same result. There is nothing wrong with the cable or pin connections, and no new software has been installed on his very basic W95B PC. Can anyone offer an explanation, or cure, for this problem? Or is the HP due for the scrap heap after just 3.5 years moderate use?
