Howdy...

The choice of what you want to do is yours, but to ask for help, and then
come up with reasons for ignoring it can prove a problem, especially when it
the advise comes from a seasoned professional, with certifications.

In regards to your reason for not doing such, NOW you know why regular
backups are CONSTANTLY mentioned, and recommended. Otherwise, you have to
do allot more work because you were too stubborn to listen to professional
advise.

Subject: Re: PCWorks: Windows 98 Find Target Problem

I've done this in the past. Also used the DelTree to remove Windows and its
subfolders (after backing up all the dll's, etc.) The main problem here is
that I have about 60+gigs of Stuff and an un counted number of programs for
graphics, sound, genealogy, etc. To reinstall all of these is just a real
mess. I've had success in the past with reinstalling to repair, but this
time
it wouldn't fix the 'find target' option. I realize that it shows the
location
in the window for the properties and this is what I am using, but its just a
little faster to use the 'find target'. Thanks for the response.
