Hi again, I learn so much from this group, and have been helped immeasurably. So I'll offer a small suggestion for those using Netscape (which is my default browser). In reading email, it becomes much easier to see what's quoted from the original and what's new by making a slight adjustment in the color scheme.
Among the many configurations in setting up the system, what I do in Netscape, is go to Edit, Preferences, Mail & Newsgroups, and where is says 'Plain quoted text beginning with �>� is displayed with' � I make that red. You'll see how nicely the quotes stand out from the new comments. I also (and this is optional) go to Appearance, Colors, and in the Colors column, check �Use Windows colors� and in the Links column, make Unvisited links dark green and Visited links red. For maximum best appearance (like decorating a home, it all fits together best in one package), I suppose it also depends upon how you set up the �Items� in the Appearance tab of your Display Properties. If I know nothing else, I've mastered that. Anyone needing help in appearances; email me (no charge). I find green the best overall theme color; easiest on the eyes. I think that's why they make billiard tables (poor anyone?) dark green. So combining dark and light green; (some red and yellow for whatever they call the small items, maybe accoutrements), has a nice effect.
