I installed TweakUI on an older computer that I am setting up for an anonymous Xmas gift for a family who doesn't have one. What I really hoped to accomplish was to remove those awful shortcut arrows.
This works fine on my main machine, but it seems to have no effect on this one I'm trying to set up. On that machine is Win98SE. I would tell you the version of TweakUI if I could find it! When I open TweakUI and attempt to remove the arrows, the "before" picture shows no arrows. However, they are most definitely there. No matter what selections I make, it seems to have no effect.
