Boot from the floppy. When the A: prompts appears, type: A:\ fdisk c: /mbr reboot the laptop and see if it boots
If it doesn't, then boot from the floppy again and try: A:\ sys c: followed by A:\ copy command.com c: reboot the laptop again and see if it boots If it doesn't then you will have to see if the partition is OK . However, it should be OK because you saw the C: drive before with the Win98 disk. If you have to start all over with Win 3.x installation then you will need all the original Win 3.x disks. I think there were 6 although not all of them are used.
