PCWorks: Packard Bell info

I have a friend's Packard Bell 750C computer. The hard drive has gone south 
and is being replaced but my friend would like to upgrade it from it's K62 
300 mhz to a 450 or 500 mhz and to increase the memory as well.

It uses 72 pin EDO presently.

Does anyone have specs for this system, namely memory limits or BIOS update.
