Marlene: One idea that comes to mind is to use the UPPER() function in a second column. For example, if you are typing your data into column A, set up a formula in cell B1 that looks something like =upper(A1). Then copy/paste that formula to the other cells in column B.
Column B should appear in upper case regardless of how it is typed in column A. Hope this helps.
