Meir, that's because you have it set in it's options to check the incoming mail and match it to blacklists. Uncheck that. Many if not most, of Yahoo groups are blacklisted as SPAM sources. MW is set by default to check mail against known spam sources and it will automatically check those emails for blacklisting, deletion, and bouncing. (I never saw your original email because I evidently have your IP block [the .il area] blocked due to SPAM from your area, so I won't see any replies). -Clint

K9 is a bit more sophisticated in that it sits between your ISP and your email client, so it analyzes the email before your email client ever sees it and then passes it along to your email client with the spam marked for filtering if that is appropriate. From there you can set your email client filter to shunt it aside for further perusal. Finally, no matter what, I find it necessary to review all filtered mail anyway, but for programs save me a bunch to time. I wouldn't be without either program.
