Ok that's what got me; you have area to decide what to do with unrouted
mail. So, for this to work Karl, you'd need the same I guess. Hey I have
that feature and didn't even know it, I didn't know I could add a custom
message. (Yeah I've seen yours many times...remember when you change
emails and many refuse to delete your old addresses from their address
book, and keep using it? They send email to us via CC: and when I "reply
all" it goes to your old address).

Clint,
I changed my emails on the site I have at www.hostforweb.com
I have an option for what to do with unrouteable email, of which I can
customize what the returned email
will say...
Try it.... send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The first part is the typical section for an unrouteable email...the latter
part is what I had added..
Nothing to do with automatic forwarder..

It is your only expense if you can find a free webhost with AR's.
www.Doteasy.com is only one I Can think of right now that has TRUE DOMAIN
NAME hosting (no subdomains) but I don't know if they have any AR's, they
don't have SPAM filters. Of course through them it costs more to register
a domain ($19 last time I checked) and $35 to TRANSFER an EXISTING domain
to them, both one-time fees.

Now that I think about it, I don't know how Jeff did this since if you
delete an email account(s) (like he did) I don't see how you can set up an
AR for it! This has got me confused now....you can set up an AR even in OE
or probably other email programs as well, but I don't understand how
(again) if you delete an email account, how you can then setup an AR for

"Or, spend a few bucks, get your own domain name." seems to
indicate that registering the domain is your only expense. Is
it possible to do your s p a m bouncing thing without having a
hosting service (more expense) which has an AutoResponder
function?
