Thanks to all who've answered my query. In answer to Peter Kaulback's
question:

>What do you do on your computer?

I do quite a bit of image editing, plus downloading from classical musical
sites and generally doing lots of multi-tasking. So far I've never had a
problem with 512MB (DDR). But since I've got this extra DDR 128MB memory
stick from another (defunct) computer, I wanted to put it to use.

was MOST interesting -- how can so many people have so many different
experiences!
