I ran GoBack after setting up an HP in December. It takes an enormous amount of space but it does offer a bit more capture than does the Restore option. However, I think it may be responsible for some shutdown hang-ups and I finally gave in and removed it. For the first time I did use Restore the other day and it worked fine.
Now I am regretting having paid to upgrade to GoBackDeluxe from the OEM installed light version. But we all have to learn don't we? <smile> I do use all Norton products to protect the HP. They work well with it and XP. I am running Norton System Works and added the Norton firewall to the AV already there and use CleanSweep regularly. Of course, I may be prisoner of war, I gather Norton is not too easy to remove once there. Elaine If a turtle doesn't have a shell, is he homeless or naked? You don't need Go Back, as XP comes > with System Restore. <snip> ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
