You're not getting PU's from the Windows update site. If you
are seeing them there and while you're typing an email, you're
infected with spyware or it's something the PC manufacturer put
on your computer! The latter would not surprise me. You need
to do what Ben said about AdAware, AND install SpyBot, and BE
SURE you update them BOTH before each time you run them. Also
be sure to go into their settings and scan EVERYWHERE, not just
where they set the default to scan because they WILL miss
things set to their defaults.

I use Popup Stopper Pro. http://www.panicware.com/

Hi all.
I need a good pop up blocker.. While I was downloading all the
updates from
Windows yesterday.. I had walked away from the computer. for
about l/2 hour.
In that time ALONE. I counted 12 pop-ups that I had to X out
of..

This morning.. writing email. I've gotten about 8 of them
already.. I just x
out of them. but they are very annoying.

Any suggestions for a good one. Thanks so much.
