Yep, that could be it.  Guess we'll know soon.  :-)  From the
sound of it though she sounded very annoyed & surprised she was
getting them prompting me to think spyware.....other than IM
that is.

Do you get pop
ups when you just have Outlook Express open?
I've heard pretty good things about Mindspring's pop up
blocker.  I'd give
that a try.
