Hi Ben. I checked.. It says.. NTFS.. and I did find a scan disk there.. Thanks so much..
Also checked, and have "used 5.30 GB.. and have 69.1 GB FREE space" out of a 74.4GB Capacity.. The temporary internet settings was at 123.. so I set it back down to 100.. Thanks for that info. I did a defrag the other day. and now that I know where scan disc is... I'm "happy" .. just needed to find it. and wherever I looked I couldnt' find it.. Thought it would be under programs. sytstem tools..etec..(where defrag was) and when it wasnt' there, I was so confused.. LOL Thanks regarding the disc cleanup ..I was doing it very often, with my old Gateway. now with this new Dell. I"ll do it as your recommend.. Oh, YES, the very first thing I did was changed the windows to Classic.. It was so strange seeing it differently. and I dont' remember whether it was you. or Clint. or whomever.. told me that it could be changed. and when I saw what they had "given me". I said, NO WAY. and I changed it to windows classic.. LOL Thanks also about the windows updates. I dont intend to install anything.. UNTIL I have asked you guys first.. I know I did ALL the critical updates.. as soon as I got this computer(with the new hard drive). but from now on. I'll wait and ask you.. A few of the Dell tech support guys.. said, "DON"T install windows updates. they can make your machine go.. crazy".?.. Thanks for you help and advice. This new computer is really awesome.. When I went over to my parents yesterday, and had to turn on moms 4 year old Gateway, it was so different.. LOL.. and my old computer, is sitting right there alongside moms.. (has to be formated, and as I want to give it to my niece). So, one day this week, I'll do that at moms. But I have to say.. my NEW computer. is wonderful.. I'm truly enjoying it. and now that I've gotten used to it. I do like it. Again, thanks so much.
