Well, I explained all that about what to leave out and what to
change, check it out again. :-) As for a "proxy reporting
service" you can use SpamCop, it's free but really a bunch of
BS since I SERIOUSLY believe they are IN WITH THE SPAMMERS!
The addresses they give to report to are all bogus and invalid
for 95% of RIPE, APNIC and LACNIC, and even many USA based ISP
and hosts! www.spamcop.net they are free, and about all
they're worth too. The only benefit from them is you report to
the ISP's and webhosts (that DO have valid addresses) and your
identity is not known and they supply the contact email
addresses, but again, mostly bogus. I need to go into more
detail regarding them if and before you go with that method.
http://www.spamcop.net/anonsignup.shtml The other method is
just make up an email address with Hotmail, Yahoo (ha-ha) or
other free email place. Then when that email address starts
getting attacked, (and it WILL with a Yahoo address since they
SELL your address!!) just create another one. Use NeoTrace to
put the IP addresses(Note below) and URL's in it to be traced
and you'll see all the addresses. In some cases it will not
tell you the registrant, so for those you have to go to any of
these to find it:
http://samspade.org/ (down a lot)
http://network-tools.com/
http://name.space.xs2.net/search/ (also down a lot and doesn't
work many times)

Sometimes with certain domain registrars you still can't find
the whois info at these places either, so you have to go to the
registrar itself. This is usually in the cases of
http://opensrs.org/ and http://godaddy.com/ which will 99% of
the time have the registrant whois info listed (that is the
owner of the scum domain). I can't find the NeoTrace download
right now. But it is made by Neoworx and any search engine
would be able to find it. It's free. (The non pro version is).

How would you be involved? Well, the same way I'm involved and
more than billion others! Just by UCE. Free email places,
ISP's, places where you subscribed to newsletters, email lists,
etc., etc., all sell your email addresses to parasites. I'm
not saying EVERY ONE of them do, I'm saying that all of these
*TYPE* places WILL do it. They will sell them, and/or give
them to ANYONE and that's how scum get our email addresses, and
also in the case of websites their cyber-terrorist "SpamBots"
harvest email addresses from ALL websites on the internet.

Yeah, ignoring it is really a viable option since 90% of
**ALL** ISP's and webhosts fully condone abuse and harassment
contrary to their laughable AUP's which are only "eye candy"
and "window dressing" for the FTC. It's more important for an
ISP or webhost (ESPECIALLY on these networks below) to get as
many "low-lifes" as possible feeding them money every month and
they couldn't care less what kind of atrocities their members
commit. We are going to start prosecuting under the new "Can
Spam Act" that went into Law a few days ago. Of course this is
only with USA based parasites......which I might add are
growing VERY quickly to match that of those from APNIC.

BTW:
RIPE= Mostly Europe & Afr*ica
APNIC= As*ia, but unfortunately also the mostly good people and
friends in Australia
LACNIC= S. America, C. America & Caribbean area

(Note:) This can very tricky and where SpamCop DOES do
something good. When you sign-up they will give you a
proprietary personal URL to submit the UCE. You paste the FULL
message headers of the UCE in the form then 'submit' and it
will tell WHICH of the IP addresses in the message headers is
the valid one. In many times, there can be several IP
addresses which are usually open relays that criminal ISP's
ALLOW to remain open to proxy UCE through! SOMETIMES they
MIGHT close them after a few hundred thousand complaints! From
experience though, you can tell on your own which of the IP
address in the headers (if more than one) is the real
originating IP and then you can paste that into NeoTrace and it
give you the info on it. You also place the message body of
the UCE in form, but that's a whole other story which I'd have
to go into as well if you plan to use it. In short, the
message headers AND message body must be modified or it won't
work. This again is something else SpamCop has done to further
impede the efforts of those that are trying to clean up the
internet. Still another, is they will no longer report email
addresses that the spammers use or send from within the body of
the UCE!!!

Hello, Clint & all,

Thanks for responding. This is pretty scary.. why don't I
just post my
phone number and they can call and terrify me. HA!

Someone on another list said it sounded like 'code', but didn't
elaborate..
I vaguely thought it was meaningful to someone out there, but
who? and how
would I be involved? Should I just ignore it? or, How do I
report it with
an 'anonymous email address'? What do I leave out? (the
gobble-digook
wording?) Not sure I understand your explanation, but I'll
read it again &
again, until I do understand what to do. I changed my post
from html to
plain text to send it to this list and the other one I am a
member of..
Someone did a googly on foothills.net and told me it looked
like a
legitimate website, who hosts other sites. They appear to be
against spam.

As if you and I don't have better things to do. I have dirty
clothes to wash
and stalls to clean.

Good grief!
Cindy

This is just another typical BS spam from yet another parasitic
infestation. Get used to it. :(

>From the looks of it, it was originally in HTML format and you
either tried to post it to the list (which will not work since
the list only plain text), or your email program (or some other
on your end) converted it from HTML format to plain text.
That's why there are no active links in it.
