Steve I can't receive your original posts, but I saw yours
below after Cindy replied to it. YES, they don't just do that
with Yahoo, they do that will ANY email domain. Sometimes I'd
get SPAM on my ISP account that's been CC'd to HUNDREDS of
different email address prefixes on the same domain and you can
tell they are just 'guessing' at the user/prefix. Needless to
say I disabled my ISP email thanks to BellSouth also selling
their members' email addresses.

And yes again, Yahoo with their so called "spam filters" is
total GARBAGE and a joke. They don't work, and did you ever
notice that the cr*p you get on your Yahoo email addresses is
among the same garbage you see in the ads on your Yahoo email
member's page??!!!! Last time I logged it I had over TWO
HUNDRED emails and yep, EVERY ONE of them was spam!!! Again,
needless to say I canceled it. Nothing but a spam magnet.

Yes, Steve, thanks. I have a yahoo account as well and it is
bursting at the
seams with spam whenever I do go check it. I haven't been in
yahoo! since
'last year'...

Thanks again,
C-

Don't forget about dictionary attacks as well. yahoo.com is a
common
address. So a spammer can send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc etc.
