The problem Jim, is my email addresses have nothing to do with my ISP. If they did, the UCE problem would be a thousand times worse since my ISP BellSouth LOVES spam. I was forced to route my ISP email (which I only used for a backup and personal matters since it was not filtered), through my domain server due to the attacks upon it, and it was NEVER subscribed to anything! There are many ISP's that are now using UCE filters, but that does nothing for THEIR OWN customers that are spamming others. AOL is one that comes to mind. These jerks are probably the most diligent at protecting THEIR customers, but when it comes to one of their customers attacking OTHERS, they BOUNCE BACK the complaints!!!!! This is hypocritical ad nauseum. As far as my server filters, they are the best around since you never have to see what it blocks, what is blocked is "blackholed". I at least like them best because I never have to see them. Some others won't like this since they want to see if any good emails are blocked, yet during that "checking" process they still have to see and look at the BS. I can't take that. My choices are block UCE that has a filter for it, along with possible good emails, yet stay healthier; or see the few good emails that filters have blocked along with the 99% of them being real UCE from the same slimeball scam and spam supporting ISP's and webhosts and have a stroke over that. The choice was easy, yet of course unfortunately has some bad results....your case being another example since you're on APNIC. I think I'm going to try www.sneakemail.com that Steve suggested and give that shot for the list and only use it for the list. That way when some scum attacks it, I'll just cancel it and get another. I could do that with a domain address, but since it would be domain address, they'd come up with other possible valid email prefixes to also attack on that domain. I only hope it can be used with OE. If not, that's not good. I see how it works now, it fwd's emails to your real address. That would mean it would also be filtered unless I used a non-filtered address, which I guess I could do since the addresses are hidden. It only has a 10mb monthly limit so I don't know if that would be enough. Well, that's not an option. The jerks don't say ANYTHING about not being able to use the address as a regular address unless you pay! In fact, in the FAQ's it clearly stated what you CAN do, and this was among them! Not paying only gives you the option for a few days!
