I did not mean to imply that Juno provided
a "spam-less" email address. The one I gave up
2 years ago was a Juno address. I felt that a Juno
address that was not easily attacked alphabetically,
was used on one list, not used on the web and was
released to a limited audience should have a minimum
of spam.
Juno provides local phone service to dial up its
computers to get and send your mail. You read
and create your replies off line within
its program. It has a spelling checker and you can
import text files from other programs to the body
of your message. You can also add color to your
messages, if you choose. However, this turns your
message from plain text to HTML format.
You can block-delete selected messages
in your inbox without opening them.
All without exposing your computer to
the web/internet.
You can access your undelivered messages,
that Juno is holding for you,
from any computer, with an internet connection,
by going to the Juno home page at Juno.com
You can also use a Juno dial up
connection to be connected to the internet.
All for free, if you can stand the ads. You can
also get a paid service with a minimum of ads.
