It did work at one time, I'm assuming. Either there is something wrong with the program or you have too much stuff loading at boot. Have you installed anything new lately, just before this started happening? Have you tried reinstalling MasterCook?
Reboot your computer and when it's completely up, type ctrl, alt, del and you should get a list of running programs. Why don't you send us a list of those? You should also have a program called resource manager somewhere on your start menu. Right after you boot. Start it and let us know what it says. One other possibility, your database in Mastercook just may be too big. It might help to know a bit about your hardware, processor, memory, HD's and free space. Can you import and export then? I have thousands of recipes on this program and can no longer get to them.. sigh.. Also I am using Windows 98SE.. Will switching to XP help my problem.. if so.. How do I go about switching operating systems.. will everything on the old automatically switch over to the new O.S.? Where is the best place to buy XP from??
