Mike..
Thanks..
Tried to go through Explorer but no soap.. I am going
to get the new Mastercook 7.0.. and hopefully will be able
to transfer some of my recipes to the new program.. MC definitely has
developed a glitch (smile)..

Thanks again.. think I have spent enough time & energy trying
to retrieve these recipes..
Liz

Liz,

Mastercook can sometimes have a hiccup, and after that it is almost
impossible to get it to open cookbooks, import or export.
One thing you might try is leaving the program closed, use Windows Explorer
to go to the cookbook directory and double click a cookbook. Sometimes that
opens up the cookbook files and everything works after that. And sometimes
it only works for the cookbook you opened, which means you have to do that
for each cookbook to get it initialized.

If your file associations have not been messed up, that might do it. If you
get a message that Windows does not know which program to use to open the
cookbook, you will have to correct the file association.

Mike
