I am using Windows XP Home Edition. I believe that the scrap icons appear on my desk top after I try to download a photo to my desktop. I am using several different photo programs. I received an HP digital camera for Christmas and have been using it quite a bit. But I don't think that is the problem because I have seen these scrap icons on my desktop before I ever had a digital program. .
I am not allowed to put them into the recycle bin nor can if open a new file on my desktop and drag then into it. When I try to open them or move them, I get the "server threw an exception" thing. I am using cable, and I leave my computer on line all day. The cable company is Adelphia.net Thanks.
