Hi Ann, I have no idea what the "The server threw an exception" means. Scraps are made using Microsoft Word if you have Word just highlight a part of text, by left dragging the mouse over it, then right click and drag the highlighted text to your desktop and let go the dialog box opens asking to create a scrap object select ok and you have a made a scrap. The scrap file is a special type of file to learn more and it's sinister side go here http://www.pc-help.org/security/scrap.htm A scrap file is a .shs file type and can contain commands like format so be careful with them. The pc-help website does a great job of explaining them
Good luck t0m > Hi, what on earth does "The server threw an exception" mean? I have had > several in the past and eventually they disappear, but right now I have four > on my desktop. The icons say SCRAP, but I certainly can't scrap them. I get > the above message instead. I can't put them all in one folder, and I can't > delete them. Any ideas as to what this all means?
