I have found that a2 ( http://www.emsisoft.com/en/ ) is extremely effective. A friend had a trojan and his AVG was reporting it but could not remove it. He downloaded the trial of a2 and ran it. It removed all traces including those in the restore points to the extenent that he did not have to turn them off and back on. It has a 30 day trial and the price is $29.95.

Plus it is a 30 day free trial too! Always convenient :)

In the hour of 10:41 PM 4/24/2004, Carol Warman spoke this:

I am working on a client's machine that was totally infested with spyware,
tr-jans and v*r*ses (long story - no anti virus on machine). I've installed
and run both AdAware and Spybot as well as the free AVG anti virus program.

I've gotten it down to a point where a few tr-jans remain. Does anyone know
of a good (preferably free) tr-jan remover?

Thanks, in advance.

How come nowadays the word "honesty" is generally preceded by the phrase "old-fashioned" ?
