Just put an "index.html" page in the folder-have it say
something like "I don't allow people in this folder".
Include a link back to your main page.
This doesn't affect the security of your site, 'though
website h*cking seems to be fairly easy for those who
wish to do it.
I haven't found the time to look further into your
problem, but I'm very curious about it and intend to
look into it. Let us know if you find out more.
There were about jillion "thank yous" in my mail this
morning-that's unnecessary and considered bad form. :)
You might want to use Dr. HTML on this page

The report shows 0 KB of images even though IE picks
them up just fine.

I really don't think it's a good thing that my images
folder is "open" for anyone to access and download any
of the images that I've created. Do you have any
suggestions as to why it's easily accessible if the full
path is typed into the browser?

I honestly thought I'd set my site up so that those
images that I have for download are easily downloaded
from the webpage on which they appear. This has just
disconcerted me incredibly. Does it mean my website is
now able to be changed without my knowledge?
