You are right about that. With some research I found out (which I'm sure you guys know) that ntuser.dat is one of the Registry files. Unlike the other Registry files, this one is stored in the personal Documents and Settings folder and contains the entire contents of the hkey_local_user branch of the Registry. You cant delete it because its in use and protected, and you wouldnt want to because otherwise you would mess up the computer.
