You are right about that. With some research I found out (which I'm sure you 
guys know) that ntuser.dat is one of the Registry files. Unlike the other 
Registry files, this one is stored in the personal Documents and Settings 
folder and contains the entire contents of the hkey_local_user branch of the 
Registry. You cant delete it because its in use and protected, and you 
wouldnt want to because otherwise you would mess up the computer. It grows 
as you install more software that creates keys and sub keys in the 
hkey_local_user branch of the Registry." --- these are not my words but I'll 
be keeping all ntuser files.
