Harold, I am using Firefox on a Dual-boot system with
both XP and Linspire 5.0347. It is very easy to increase/
decrease font size by CTRL/+ to increase and CTRL/- to decrease.
Just hold the CTRL key and press the +/- key as many times
as needed.

Hello again,
How is this possible? I wanted to remove Firefox (some of the
web pages are
coming in with unuaually small size font necessitating holding
down Ctrl and
moving the mouse wheel), and then re-install it to see if there
is any
improvement. I deleted all references to Firefox with a search,
and then to
make sure, using RegSeeker, I removed all references to Firefox
from the
Registry.
Now after re-installing Firefox (without any changes in the
configurations),
it is exactly how I had it before the deletions --- same
bookmarks, same
bookmark toolbar, and same homepage. Unfortunately same problem
exists with
the font size but that might be because I had removed many
fonts from the font
folder that I never use (with due consideration for those fonts
that are
absolutely needed for Windows to operate).
Basic question is how is it possitle that a totally new install
gives me my
original configurations? --- Harold
