No, they _do_ start, it's just if you watch /var/log/syslog, they start with all the exec() warnings and crash sporadically with memory errors (undecipherable). GDB then reports 1081 in s_inter.c or thereabouts to be the problem. Well maybe it'll all go away with 10.5.2; otherwise, I'm stumped. Leopard is one buggy cat.
