Just tried to compile pd-0.47-1 with jack for reference:

./pd
disabling real-time priority due to missing pd-watchdog (/pd-0.47-1/src/bin/pd-watchdog) Error in startup script: couldn't read file "/pd-0.47-1/src/tcl//pd-gui.tcl": no such file or directory

maybe something on my system got broken with the Mint 18.2 update?
