Katy,
If you can borrow the use of an NT/2000/XP computer you could download the trial
version of Jaws PDF Editor (fully functional for 14 days) which allows you to extract
ranges of pages from a PDF into a new PDF. Sorry the current version is not available
for Windows 98 (V2 due out end of q3 will though).

Help !!!

I have to send in writing samples for a prospective job, and I can't cut
down the PDF files of my sample writing to a size I can e-mail. I had
FrameMaker at my old job, and the full Adobe Acrobat, now I only have the
reader.

I tried a number of free products (995, CAD_KAS PDF Editor, JAWS PDF
Editor), and either - the document was too large and the program crashed, or
the program just crashed, or my OS (Windows 98) is too old. I would sell my
first born to get something that works... all I want to do is cut a 200 page
document down to about 50 pages.

Does anyone know of anything that I could use? I'm unemployed, so it can't
be too expensive, and it has to work with Windows 98, and with large
documents.

Any help appreciated. Thanks :-)
