No, you didn't miss anything. While I am not sure what conversion algorithm Quite uses, it is still a wholesale conversion regardless of source or color mode. As I mentioned, ideally the user would balance each image individually and take into account the dot gain anticipated for the printing process and paper to be used. -- C.
