The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com
__________________________________________________________________

It is primarily used in conjunction with forms and form controls, but is by
no means restricted to that function. For example, it can be used to create
a new, blank pdf documents by creating a new menu item.

The following will help you to appreciate its capabilities. All references
are to Acrobat 5.

1. Read the chapter 'PDF Forms' in the Acrobat online help (page 145). In
particular read the section in this chapter, 'Using custom Javascript in
forms'.
2. Study the Acrobat Javascript Guide (Help>Acrobat Javascript Guide
3. Work through the Acrobat Javascript tutorial, Acro5JSCourse.pdf.
4. Read the book which is called something like 'Using Javascript in Acrobat
Forms' by John Deubert.
