Here is what I found out last night.

We have multiple PCs at the house.

The file opened in 1 PC that had reader 6. WIN2K
The file opened in another PC it had Reader 5.1 WIN2K
The file DID NOT open in a third PC, it had reader 5.0 WIN XP
Got on Adobe web site, downloaded and installed reader 6.0
        The file opened!
The file did not open on a fourth PC, it also had 5.0 reader. When
6.0 reader was installed, there was a problem with the browser plug
in so that test is incomplete. WIN XP

Here at the office, I have the FULL Acrobat 5.0, and Reader 6.0
When I try to open the file, the browser uses the full acrobat 5.0
to open the file, but gets a blank screen and the dreaded "DONE". WIN2K

On another PC with the FULL Acrobat 4.0, the file did not open.
WIN2K

As of right now, it appears to be related to Reader 5.0 and
Acrobat 5.0, and FULL Acrobat 4.0.

I would be curious if Maggie can try to install reader 6.0 on
one of the PCs that shows the blank page, and report the
results to us.

That is the scoop.

Ciao For Now.

Fadel

Sounds like the browser settings might need to be looked at to see
what's different between those who can see the document and those who
cannot. Could be something as simple as a security setting.

well, the thing is it is not me who has a problem. I can open the files

fine but other people in the office can't. I went and personally tried
a
few computers and I had no luck on some of them, others worked fine.
So,
that's why I can't figure out the problem.
