I understand your workflow in principle. But what I wonder is: 1) How do you use the EPS files? Don't you place them on the page in some manner, like in a picture container? And 2) Why are you making an EPS file when the PDF should work just fine? It seems like an extra step. As I stated earlier, in most cases you can remove the crops and file information with the object touch-up tool. The final page has its own bleed/crop/registrations marks. They aren't needed as in the case of commercial printing. We end up making EPSs of the PDFs received.
