One of several conditions could be causing this ...
(1) Try restarting Acrobat Reader and printing again.
(2) If it still doesn't print, try rebooting Windows'98.
The memory management system of Windows'9x/Me is quite
brain-dead causing problems as time between reboots increases,
especially with regards to use of certain 64Kbyte memory
pools that don't reclaim memory. That interferes with
the proper functioning of many programs such as Acrobat.
(3) If it still doesn't print, try Reader 6.0.1.
(4) If it still doesn't print, it could be a structural
problem with PDF file itself (such as being hacked together
via combination of multiple PDF files with differing versions
of Helvetica from different sources). I'd be interested in
you sending a copy of that PDF file to me so that I could
test it myself and if necessary, pass it along to the
Acrobat QA group.
