If they can be both, then they'll be very substantial indeed.  (I'm
thinking of lenses designed for 6x7 which can be used on 645 and 35mm
with appropriate adapters.  And probably on 110 as well...)

While the 105/f2.4 isn't huge, some of the other 6x7 lenses are
*enormous*.  My 55/f3.5 has a front filter diameter of 100mm.

Also, 6x7 lenses are quite expensive compared to 35mm.  Anyone know
how they compare quality wise?  i.e. anyone used say the FA100/f.28
macro *and* the 100/f4 macro on the sam camera?

Lenses which are dual purpose 645 and 35mm would be more sensible, of
course, but still putting a big penalty on 35mm users.
